Description
In the morning of 22 April 1997 two dozens of men and women gathered at the premises of the Goethe Institute in Nicosia, a few meters away from the border line that divides Cyprus since 1974. Renos Prentzas, chairman of IKME walked with the representative of the German embassy Von Halem to welcome an equivalent group of Turkish Cypriots participants from the north.
