The book is a scientific catalogue that complements the homonymous exhibition. The aim of the book is to give a diachronic account of the history and contribution of the Church of Panagia Phaneromeni, not only to the walled city of Nicosia, but to the wider island. The pages of the Catalogue offer a retrospective on the history, architecture and art of the church of Phaneromeni, which is dedicated to the Annunciation of Theotokos. Also cited is new research evidence that sheds light on unknown aspects of the church of Phaneromeni.
