Description
This book is not about the history of the Maronites for that was not my intent. I have tried rather to shed some light on the Maronites by recollecting their birth as a people, their most significant achievements, as well as the hardships and ordeals they had to bear with one generation after the other. I have probed in depth some events I deemed to be important while skimming over others which I did not consider to be of significance. I have done so because my aim was to learn about the Maronites and what they are about.
