This catalogue was published in conjunction with the exhibitions George Pol. Georghiou – Timeless Cyprus and Timeless Cyprus – Life is Short, and Art Long (Nicosia, November 2022 – February 2023). An edition in which we see the artist’s love for his homeland, his knowledge, anxieties, passions and his reflections on all that has occurred in our country’s history. According to the artist, ‘There is still a piece of blue sky left in Cyprus and it is towards it that the boat of our hope is sailing.’
