Description
These works represent perceptions or objectifications of Cyprus, from the past and from outside the island, but they are counterpointed in various ways – by the worked of the Cypriot artists in the collection, and also by the perceptions of the people walking through the exhibition spaces today – so that they have become part of Cypriots’ own culture, heritage, identity, and subjective reality.
