Description
The Republic of Cyprus has experienced violence and we still suffer from its consequences. It still suffers from the consequences of the illegal Turkish invasion of 1974 and the ongoing occupation. Thirty-sever years later, the Republic of Cyprus, a full member of the UN and the European Union, still suffers from the occupation of a large part of its territory by the military forces of Turkey.
