Description
The idea behind this publication was to write a book on Cypriot Art during the 20th Century.with particular emphasis on the younger generation of artists, those born after the island’s independence in 1960. It was an idea of the New Cyprus Association. Funding for such ambitious project was secured from the UNOPS/UNDP Bicommunal Development Programme. What was envisaged was a book that would record the course of arty in the Greek Cypriot and Turkish communities.
