Maria†Maria†.doxc is a book documenting a two-year online conversation between Maria Toumazou and Marysia Gacek consisting of a visual collection of different materials such as photographs, notes and miscellaneous references. The photographic and literary components of Maria†Maria†.docx are interwoven into a dialogue in which the whole is far greater than the sum of its parts. It is a record of a series of connections, hyperaware observations, and faith in another artist’s line of thought parallel with the universal alignment. Maria†Maria†.doxc is accompanied with a specially commissioned text by John Ryan.
