Description
The writer, Eleni Mosfili-Loizou was born in Mandres, Famagusta, a village on Pentadaktylos Region occupied since July 1974 by the invator Turkish Army.
The writer after her studies in the American Academy had various courses of Domestic Science in the English School of Nicosia.
She was appointed as a School Teacher of Domestic Science in 1952/53 and she was the first who introduced this lesson in the Elementary Schools of Cyprus.
She teached in different schools of Nicosia, Famagusta upto 1974 when her family had to move to Limassol due to the Turkish invasion, where she continued her teaching in Limassol, until 1990 when retired.
